Union Jack & Rosy.........

 Sorry I have been away so long! first I broke my best friend of five years  my canon 450d , then my computer died. Then before you know it time gets away from you & I got into sewing but am pleased to say I am  'BACK'' with my new computer & canon 700d my Christmas presents to myself, well a little help from my other 'darling' half xx   

So far I haven't had a lot of practice, with the new camera but I will for sure as I LoVe being creative with my photography its the passion that Oprah often talks about but I never knew I had until these past few years,   

 English roses! the camera gets very close considering its not in the professional league,   Next Christmas..... now don't get greedy 'Pamela' 

   Roses were so 'beautiful' & very large, lasted for around 8/9 days, got my camera as roses were starting to lose their petals, you can see how much detail the the camera has picked up in these roses.....wonderful!.   

I have this photo blown up onto a large canvas on my bedroom wall. I love waking up to this, specially when morning sunlight filters on picture & pick's up the colors, the blue in particular its like 'magic'....... its been a long day' time for a cupa & sleep........'Abundance' to every one......

 Another great Sunday morning at the market, Hubby bought me beautiful birthday flowers, then as usual BaZza went to buy veggies, vintage stall's were calling me! before we sat down to a  lovely coffee and watched the world go by, LoVe it! Look what I found, I can't help myself  ...........

          I found a lovely little dolly,and after just watching woody & Buzz how could I just leave her there I ask you how?

                                 she looks like new again.......

                                   I made a birthday wish 

       and just like ''magic''...... I am now three year's younger! try it, you wont believe how wonderful you feel. Next year I am going the whole eat your cake and don't pay later kinda thing and ask to be ten years younger how ''fantastic'' will that be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  

                   

 Beautiful old dinner set quite old and in lovely condition      plates marked ''pheasant'Alfred Meakin England.....

Two tea cups and saucers + two small side plates missing but for $20. dollars who's complaining...I LoVe them!

Daffodil day 23-8-2013 Never thought that this day would mean so much to us! specially my man BaZza,,,it was five year as ago he got  told he had bowel cancer and like so many people its a very frightening & scary thing to be told. Just the word alone changes your world.This five years have been a roller coaster & I have been along for the ride & wouldn't have it any other-way your inner strength has been amazing & your long hair to you has been your life line to me its drove me crazy, but what is hair between 34 years together a! heehee. ps I LoVe YOU  don't tell anybody! 

for the six months of chemo every second week the hospital became a second home,the nurses were all angels in disguise we are sure of that! each and every one were,are wonderful...the music that was played the friendship's,the coffee & tea lady/men, played a huge part of your healing!

 A close friend Matilda, not sure where Matilda came from but, but someone sent her to help Barry ease his pain.......

YOU HAD ALL THE NURSES IN LOVE WITH YOU! HEEHEEE

Last month on the train, to meet your new granddaughter.

twenty odd years ago a psychic said you wouldn't see 73, Shite what a LoNg  long year this has been even I have aged?........ now who's smiling....... again!

please if you are a psychic please don't tell anyone they are not going to make it! Its a terrible thing to tell someone, mind you it was twenty odd years ago and at the time Barry thought that's ok I will see my kids grow up but have to tell you as the years got closer,wholly cow this year has been a nightmare! heeheee well can laugh now!!

23-8-2013 today is Daffodil day & today BaZza got the hand shake from his Dr and the five year all cancer free,what better way to start 73 yahooooooooooooooooooooyahooooooooooooo

New granddaughter/new handbag!

             Your mummy & daddy little brother too

                  have waited so long to meet little you!

 We had a wonderful stay, meeting our new baby granddaughter, she is beautiful & looks a lot like her mummy when she was born! I started to reminisce! remembering  my first daughter,my first child being born,her little dimples she got from her father & how scared I was taking her home!Today most dad's get maternity leave. I think I would of loved that idea ''Its brilliant'' bonding at its best!  Watching my daughter now with her new born & small child her life so busy & getting up several times a night for feeds endless ''tiredness'' having hubby home to help is priceless! 

But never the less ''my girl'' now needs new dresses, jeans, shoes, another handbag so she can give the new/old handbag to her beautiful 'mother' sorry my other lovely daughter but its 'mommy dearest'' turn! 

                  So back to WORK ''young man'' XXXX

Sunday in Surfers Paradise

 the beach and a walk around Surfers.

 The boys had a wonderful time,Eyes wide open!

then it was time for their first Aussy burger.

 Was a great show.
